How a Virtual Consultation Works

It can be hard to find time in your busy schedule to come in for an orthodontic consultation. That is why we offer simple, virtual consults! If you can take a selfie – you’re a perfect candidate for this option. Simply follow the steps below to complete your virtual smile assessment. Dr. Rosen will evaluate your images and come up with a treatment plan based specifically on your needs and your smile – whether that’s a clear alignment system, traditional braces, or something else, Braces520 has the solution.

Take Photos

  • Step 1 - Take a front-facing ‘selfie’, but do not smile.
  • Step 2 - Take a second front-facing selfie, but this time let’s see your teeth! Smile big!
  • Step 3 - Turn your face to the side and take a photo of your left profile. Do not smile & keep your lips together.
  • Step 4 - Face the camera. Using two spoons, pull your lips and cheeks away from your teeth. Bite down and take a photo of the front of your teeth.
  • Step 5 - Take the spoon again and this time stretch your cheek back toward your right ear. Try to get a photo of your right, back molars.
  • Step 6 - Repeat step 5 but on your left side.
  • Step 7 - Tilt your head back and use the spoons inside the your cheeks on the top to pull your lips upward to reveal all the upper teeth. Snap a photo.
  • Step 8 - Tilt your head down and use the spoons inside your cheeks on the bottom to pull your lips away from your bottom teeth. Take the final picture.
